The Grayson County Extension Office will host a multi-county, Regional Beef Field Day, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the farm of Eric and Sherry St. Clair at 13899 Falls of Rough Road in Falls of Rough, Kentucky. The Field Day includes the counties of Grayson, Breckinridge, Butler, Edmonson, Hancock and Ohio, and is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required by September 6th by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492. The program will be held on the following schedule:
Vendors & Registration – 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Educational Sessions (4 total) – 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The educational sessions include a great line-up of speakers, including Dr. Jeff Lehmkuler, University of Kentucky Beef Cattle Specialist, Evan Tate, Hancock County Extension Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources, Dr. Tim Gardener, DVM, and Chris Mugegge, Great Plains Livestock Consulting. The Field Day qualifies as an educational session for CAIP (County Agricultural Investment Program).
