We’ve all heard how healthy probiotics can be good for you – but what exactly are they? Probiotics are friendly bacteria and are important to a healthy gut. But, do you know the source, how they work in your body, and how they keep your body healthy? The Grayson County Extension Office will offer a free class on Probiotics on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Extension Office. The class will be taught by Washington County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences, Cabrina Buckman. The program will cover the importance and sources of probiotics.
