You can learn to make a child’s dress from a simple pillowcase at the Pillowcase Dress class on Saturday, September 29th at the Grayson County Extension Office. The class will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at their office located at 123 Commerce Drive in Leitchfield. The class is brought to you by the Grayson County Live at 5 Homemaker Club as part of their Project of Service: Focus on Children. Participants will be able to complete the dress in one class, and then have the opportunity to take it home, or donate it to a child in need in Grayson County. Class size is limited to 10 so please register in advance by calling (270) 259-3492. The class is free, but you must bring your own supplies, which include the following: scissors, pins, pillowcase, ¼” elastic, and 2 pieces of 38” double fold bias tape to match pillow case. Light refreshments will be provided. You should park in the back of the building and enter in the West entrance door.
