An Open House and Award Ceremony will take place Thursday, April 12th from 9am-11am at the Grayson County Alliance Food Pantry. A check presentation with local farmer, Jimmy Sipes of Canevyille will also be held. Mr. Sipes won a contest with America’s Farmers Grow Communities and designated GCA for the award. County farmer Jimmy Sipes directed a $2,500 donation to Grayson County Alliance as part of the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. As part of their mission, GCA will use funds to establish a dedicated classroom at the Food Pantry.
