Back by popular demand! The Grayson County Historical Society will be conducting another walking tour around the Leitchfield Public Square on Sunday, May 19th at 2:00 pm. Rain date is Sunday, June 2nd at the same time. We love the walking tours as we always learn something new as we make our way around the Square. Be sure to join us and we talk about the the Sisk Girls, how the “Big 7” got its name, the three courthouse fires (starting with the Confederates in 1864), Irish Row, the Alice Palace, the many uses of the old Opera House, Abraham Lincoln’s Grayson County cousin Old Mord the “Woman Hater,” and more!
