There will be two workshops for kids on October 3th, 2017 at the Grayson County Extension Office. The Hand Lettering Workshop will be held from 9:30 – 11:30, and the Note Card Workshop is from 12:30 – 2:30. The workshops are free and open to youth ages 9+. Patience is a MUST for both of these workshops, and youth must be able to focus, concentrate, and work quietly for long periods of time. During hand lettering, participants will learn and practice differing styles of lettering fonts and how to create them with pen & pencil. Note card workshop participants will create fun, handmade cards. Kids can bring their own lunch, or leave with a parent during the 1 hour break between workshops.
