The Fordsville High School Alumni Association will conduct its annual Alumni Meeting on Saturday, November 25, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm CST. The event will be held at the Senior Citizens Community Center at 160 West Main Street, Fordsville, KY. The Senior Citizens Community Center shares the building with the Fordsville Volunteer Fire Department. Activities include music, food, and scholarship presentations. A brief business meeting will also be conducted. All former Fordsville High School alumni, teachers, staff, guests, and friends of the school are welcome to attend the potluck style meal. About Fordsville High School Alumni Association
Beginning in the 1870’s as a community school offering public education for Grades 1-12, Fordsville High School served the Fordsville, KY community for well over a century. The current school building was built in 1935.
The Fordsville High School Alumni Association began in 1948 as a collection of individual graduates and attendees of the high school striving to link the importance of the school to the local community. In August 1990, approximately 135 students in Grades 9-12 were consolidated into Ohio County High School in Hartford, KY. An elementary school still operates today serving Grades Preschool-6.
