Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky (DSSKY) is honored to be the beneficiary of a Bass Fishing Tournament hosted by MCC. The fishing tournament will be held on June 17th from 6am-1pm at Port Oliver Boat Ramp in Scottsville, Kentucky. Tickets purchased through DSSKY’s website or by calling DSSKY at (270)796-5002.

“Bowling Green is committed to participating in community fundraising, outreach, and involvement programs.  We, MCC, have developed a community initiative plan to outline our goals, purpose, and actions associated with our community involvement program,” says Chris Wenskoski Operations Manager at MCC.  “The Buddy House is a big focus for the MCC family, we have numerous families that work here that utilize the Buddy House. Nothing is more important to MCC than helping the community and our people.”

The Buddy House provides services to individuals of all ages with Down syndrome within the fourteen-county service area. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families by providing support, information, education, resources, networking, and activities. We believe that inclusion and community support are essential in helping enable persons with Down syndrome to achieve their maximum potential and lead fulfilling lives.
