The Grayson County Extension Office will host a free class on the Ball freshTech Harvest Pro Sauce Maker on Thursday, July 26th at two convenient times; you can choose to come at 1:00 p.m. or the class will be repeated at 5:30 p.m. This appliance, developed by the Ball Company, is one of several in Ball’s line of food preservation appliances with Smart PRESERVE Technology. The Harvest Pro Sauce Maker can puree up to 15 quarts of fresh tomatoes in just a few minutes, so you can save time, effort, and mess! It’s so much easier to make garden-fresh sauces, salsas, dips and spreads from a variety of fruits and vegetables with this great appliance. The class will be taught by Natalie Taul, Grayson County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences, and she will demonstrate the Harvest Pro Sauce Maker by making Peach Chipotle BBQ Sauce! Sign up early for this great class, as class size is limited to 15. We must have a minimum of 5 registered or the class will be cancelled. Advanced registration is required by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492.
