Agriculture is America’s number one export and each American farmer feeds 165 people and that’s a reason to celebrate! Therefore the Warren County Agriculture Foundation is hosting its annual Agriculture Awareness Breakfast to recognize the role of agriculture in our community and to celebrate it!
Scott Bouldin, the Chairman of the Warren County Ag Awareness Committee states,“As home to the 3rd largest number of farms in the state, Warren Countians have a strong history of agriculture leadership and we’re proud of that. As a committee, our goal is to help elevate that legacy to new heights by supporting agriculture educational programs that will benefit the farmers of today and tomorrow. We hope that this investment, made possible by our business partners, will help local farmers become more efficient, generate higher yields and feed more families.”
Everyone is invited to attend the breakfast on Friday, March 15thstarting at 7:30 a.m. at the National Corvette Museum. Please RSVP before March 8th by calling 270-842-1681.
This year’s keynote speaker is Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarles. Come out and listen to him discuss how Kentucky is working towards this year’s theme of Agriculture: Food for Life and How our Nation is Leading the Way. Under Commissioner Quarles leadership, Kentucky agriculture has seen great strides in the development of the industrial hemp program, increased trade, programs geared towards veterans and the hunger initiative. Make plans to join us for this celebration of agriculture.
