There will be a multi-county, 2-Part Bull Value Assessment Program at the Hardin County Extension Office. There is a $25 registration fee and there will be a meal provided at each session.
Register through your local Extension Service – Hardin, Larue, Meade, Grayson, Nelson & Marion Counties.
This program counts for CAIP educational credit. The program will be held on the following schedule:
Session 1: Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30 p.m., EST
– Breeding Soundness Exams
– Bull Nutrition Management
– Matching Genetics to Management
– Targeting Selection for Specific Markets
– Tools for Selection
Session 2: Tuesday, January 28th at 6:30 p.m., EST
– Live “Mock Auction” – each producer will purchase a Bull to fit specific scenarios in an auction setting.
– “Talking Bull” – review auction results and recognize producers with the highest value purchases.
