A death investigation is underway following the discovery of a deceased male inside a burned home.
First responders were dispatched to the blaze on Patton Road, approximately eight miles north of London, on Monday morning at 9:10.
After distinguishing the blaze, firefighters discovered the body of 66-year-old Stanley Crisp, of East Bernstadt, in a bedroom, according to the Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into Crisp’s death is ongoing and is being conducted by the Laurel Co. Major Crimes Task Force.
