
A Glasgow man initially charged with possession of child porn is being held on a $1 million bond after being additionally charged with sodomizing and sexually abusing a victim younger than 12.
The Glasgow Police Department said officers arrested 27-year-old Nathan J. Woodcock and charged him with first-degree sodomy (victim younger than 12), first-degree sexual abuse (victim younger than 12) and two counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor (victim younger than 12).
Woodcock, according to Glasgow police, was initially charged on Wednesday with two counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor after a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s Drane Avenue residence.
The sodomy and sex abuse charges were leveled against the suspect on Thursday.
The investigation began with a tip received by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, according to Glasgow police.
Woodcock is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Glasgow Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security.
