
A train and semi-truck collided in Elizabethtown at the same railroad crossing where a train vs. semi crash occurred in December.
The latest accident happened Thursday morning at approximately 8:00 at the Nicholas Street crossing, off Hwy 62, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.
When the train struck the semi, the impact cut the truck in half, but did not appear to damage the truck’s cab.
The accident impacted travel in several locations throughout the south end of Elizabethtown.
No injuries were reported.
The site of Thursday morning’s accident is the same location where a train and semi collided during the late evening hours of December 12, 2024. No injuries were reported in that accident.
