A large garage was destroyed in Leitchfield late Wednesday night.
The Leitchfield Fire Department responded to the blaze at approximately 11:20 Wednesday night in the 300 block of Hendricks Street. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the detached garage fully engulfed in flames, as the roof of the building had partially collapsed.
Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, but the building was a total loss.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The building, though, did not have electricity, according to LFD Assistant Chief Roy Hack.
There were no injuries reported.
The Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
