A Hardin County man has been charged with multiple counts of distributing child porn involving a child under the age of 12.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 31-year-old Joseph B. Bowling, of Elizabethtown, and charged him with 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.
Bowling was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The investigation began after police discovered Bowling sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
Bowling was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
