A fourth person from the same family has died from injuries suffered during a residential fire in Pulaski County.
As K105 previously reported, a fire ripped through a home on Parkers Mill Road in Somerset at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday March 18. The fire was reported by a passing motorist.
Perishing in the blaze were 78-year-old Norma Dean Putteet, 55-year-old Jerry Todd Putteet and 17-year-old BriLee Putteet.
BriLee attended Southwestern High School and played on the school’s fast pitch softball team.
One man, 53-year-old Brian Lee Putteet, made it out of the fire but suffered burns over a large percentage of his body. He was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he died on Friday, according to WYMT.com.
Brian Putteet was BriLee Puttee’s father, Jerry Putteet’s brother and Norma Putteet’s son.
No information has been released on the cause of the fire, but fire officials told WYMT.com in mid-March that it likely started in the “lower portion of the home,” which suffered the most severe damage.
