
Rev. Raymond Rush Duncan Sr. passed away from this life to be with the Lord Jesus at 12:30 AM on February 2,3 2025 at the age of 78.
Raymond was born on January 15, 1947, one of 13 children to Henry and Nell Duncan. Raymond married Marilyn Sue McClellan on January 9, 1964. They were married 58 years. He made a living as a Crop Farmer and worked hard to provide for his family. He was an Ordained Assemblies of God Preacher, and was the Assistant Pastor of the Fordsville Church of God of Prophecy in Fordsville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wavy Duncan, Marvin Duncan, Nathan Duncan, Harold Duncan, Jim Duncan, Hubert Duncan, Ernest Duncan and David Duncan and a sister, Mary Brown.
Left to honor Raymond’s memory are a son, Raymond, Jr. and his wife Christie Duncan; two daughters, Ada Logsdon and Rita Dupin and husband Charlie. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Stephanie (Jarrett) Bottles, Emily Clemons, Pamela (Nathan) Hayes, Jenna (James) Smith, Sierra (Daniel) Watkins, and Cody (Emilie) Duncan; fourteen great-grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Riley and Joshua Bottles, Noah, Hailey and Kyle Higdon, Kailyn, Shelby, Keyarah and Skyelor Hayes, Colton, Olivia, and Alora Smith; One great great grandchild, Jaxson Hayes; brother, Richard (Cory) Duncan, and sisters, Sue Nell (Billy) Lucas and Evelyn (Tommy) Blake and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Caneyville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Neville Green officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 and again from 9:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
