A Hart County man has been killed and two people airlifted after a crossover crash in Munfordville.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Monday at approximately noon near the intersection of Hardyville Road (Hwy 88) and Birchwood Lane, less than a half mile east of Hart Co. High School.
The KSP investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Trail Blazer, being driven by 70-year-old Philip Hodson, of Canmer, was traveling east on Hardyville Road when the SUV crossed the center line into the westbound lane and collided with a Ford van, being driven by Edin Favier.
Favier and two of his passengers were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Two other passengers were airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital.
Hodson was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hart County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by KSP Det. Bo Hubbard.
