The first fatal fire occurred Sunday morning at approximately 9:00 on Tara Circle in Shepherdsville, according to a report by WAVE.com.
The Shepherdsville Fire Department responded and discovered a woman, Cheryl L. Peterson, deceased inside the residence.
The fire was started because of an “alternate method of heating,” as there was no electric service to the home, the Shepherdsville fire chief told the Louisville television station.
