A teenager and another man have been killed in a two-vehicle accident in eastern Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Friday night at approximately 9:00 on Hwy 60 near Greasy Creek Road, approximately 10 miles north of Morehead in Carter County.

The state police investigation showed that 28-year-old Austin E. Estepp, of Olive Hill, lost control of a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu while traveling east on Hwy 60. The vehicle spun into the westbound lane, according to police, where it was struck on the passenger side by a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country.

Estepp and his passenger, 18-year-old Hunter C. Wallace, of Morehead, were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Carter County Coroner’s Office.

The minivan’s driver was not injured.

KSP Det. Nathan Carter is leading the investigation.
