Road work will take place in Ohio County on Thursday and Friday.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said Scotty’s Contracting plans to “mill the bridge approaches to the U.S. 231 bridge over Muddy Creek (at mile point 11.4) between Hartford and Beaver Dam, and the bridge over North Fork of Muddy Creek (at mile point 12.3) near KY 69 in Hartford beginning at 8:00 a.m. Thursday.”
If time allows, crews also plan to mill the approach to the CSX railroad crossing on US 62 in McHenry (at mile point 6.7 mile).
Scotty’s plans to pave these locations on Friday.
Motorists should anticipate lane restrictions with flaggers present during milling and paving operations.
