2 charged with murder in Bullitt Co. for shooting man over car titling issue

Two men have been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing a man in his home in Bullitt County.

According to the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton J. Mucker Jr., 20, and Benjamin A. Williams, 24, of Louisville, shot and killed Yuri Valcarcel-Herrera at his home on Sunday in the 1400 block of Hebron Lane, approximately one mile south of Hillview. The two men also shot at the victim’s brother and sister-in-law.

Valcarcel-Herrar’s brother returned fire but did not hit either suspect.

Valcarcel-Herrera was shot multiple times in the chest and transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The shooting was related to the titling of a 2008 Pontiac, which the victim sold for $5,000 to one of the suspects.

Both men were arrested on Virginia Avenue in Louisville and charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of felony wanton endangerment.
