William Paul Bowling, age 81, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Friday, (November 22, 2024) at his home.
He was born on August 01, 1943 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Irvin and Ruth Carter Bowling, and spent 35 years married to the love of his life, Phyllis Ann Ryan Bowling.
He was a Veteran of the US Army who worked at Dupont until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, watching birds and squirrels, spending time in nature and watching his favorite show, Gunsmoke, on TV. William was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church at Axtel.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina Bowling Tomasulo of Louisville, Debbra Nauert (Charles) of Versailles, KY, Kimberly Brendle, also of Louisville, and Dana Sneed of Falls of Rough; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; five brothers and one sister.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by Phyllis Ann Ryan Bowling and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (November 26, 2024) at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Axtel. Father Paul Thomas will be officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Axtel from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
