The identity of the man who perished in a residential fire in Clarkson has been released.
The deadly blaze occurred at approximately 4:55 p.m. Thursday, and resulted in the Clarkson and Leitchfield Fire Departments, Grayson County Deputy Sean Fentress, Grayson County Emergency Management Director Carey Sims, and EMS responding to the scene in the 100 block of Old Leitchfield Road.
Upon arriving, firefighters discovered a male unresponsive in the home. Firefighters immediately removed the man from the residence, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson County Deputy Coroner James Embry.
The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Robert L. Crain, Embry said.
The blaze was contained inside the wood-frame home.
