Stanley Saltsman, age 61, of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, (November 9, 2024) at his residence in Oklahoma. He was born on March 3, 1963 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Frank and Mabel Ruth Decker Saltsman.
He was a heavy equipment operator, having been employed by Dirt Works for several years. Stanley enjoyed mudding, riding four-wheelers, and traveling. His job was fun to him, instead of like work; because he loved doing it so much. He enjoyed operating all the heavy equipment.
His family meant the world to him. He married Amber Brown Saltsman on September 2, 2000, and they had a wonderful life together. He was a member of Leitchfield Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Saltsman of Marlow, Oklahoma; two sons, Adam Saltsman (Destiny) and Wesley Saltsman (Danielle); daughter, Sheena Saltsman; seven grandchildren, Hurley and Atlas Saltsman, Wyatt, Cameron, Jacob, Jackson, and Lily Newton; and four brothers and five sisters. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kolbie Saltsman; one sister, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Leitchfield Christian Church on Monday (November 18, 2024) at 1:00p.m. Bro. Lee Schroerlucke will be officiating with burial in the Stanley Saltsman Cemetery on Blowtown Road.
Visitation will be at the Leitchfield Christian Church from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
