A Breckinridge County woman with mental health issues who disappeared nearly 16 weeks ago remains missing.

Evelyn Blake, 64, suffers from “early dementia” and is “developmentally disabled” and has not been seen since late July

As K105 previously reported, Blake was last seen Sunday night, July 21, at approximately 6:00, according to a family member — it was previously reported, based on law enforcement statements, that Blake had last been seen at 10:30 p.m. She was last known to be in the 4000 block of Old Railroad Road, about two miles south of McQuady and a few miles north of Falls of Rough in the Glen Dean area of the county.

“Evelyn suffers from early dementia and is developmentally disabled,” according to a family member who reached out to K105.

The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, responding to unverified reports that Evelyn had spoken to someone on the phone since her disappearance, released the following statement on the search on July 27:

“Until a law enforcement officer makes physical contact with Ms. Blake, she will still be considered missing. The Sheriff’s Office is currently utilizing phone records from the phone provider, as a tool in attempt to locate Ms. Blake … We will continue to utilize whatever means necessary for a safe return of Ms. Blake. Our ultimate goal is to locate Ms. Blake. We appreciate all the help the public is wanting to provide, while still continuing to maintain respect for home and landowners. Permission to go onto their property must still be given to those wanting to search properties for Ms. Blake.”

Blake stands five feet, one inch tall and weighs about 230 pounds. She was last known to be wearing a white shirt and tan shorts.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to contact the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office at 270-756-2361.

Alexandria Piper

Also still missing is 16-year-old Edmonson County girl Alexandria Piper, of Rock Hill. She was last seen early Monday morning, October 14.

Alexandria was last seen at 1:30 a.m. Monday “in the Edmonson County part of Smiths Grove close to Rocky Hill,” Piper’s mother, Jessica Blair said in a social media post.

Blair added that Alexandria could be with a man she met on Snapchat.

“She’s originally from Glasgow and goes to Glasgow High School so she could be hiding out with friends there or with a 20 year old man named Kaden she talked to on Snapchat,” according to Blair.

Kaden, Blair said, could be from Tennessee due to him telling Alexandria that he lives “hours away.”

Blair said Alexandria is five feet tall and weighs “maybe 85 pounds soaking wet.” She has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. The teenager additionally “has a line shaved in her right eyebrow.”

Alexandria was last seen wearing black sweatpants with a butterfly on the left leg, a black hoodie with four multicolored happy faces on the front and black crocs with Spider-Man croc charms, Blair said.

Anyone with information regarding Alexandria’s location is asked to contact the Edmonson Co. Sheriff’s Office at 270-597-2157, Edmonson Co. Dispatch at 270-597-2729 or call 911.
