A Grayson County non-compliant sex offender has been arrested on three warrants.

Deamon R. Selby, 52, of Falls of Rough, was arrested by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office on the strength of three warrants charging Selby with failure to comply with the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry, first-degree bail jumping and failure to appear, according to the arrest citations.

On October 13, Selby, who was previously convicted in Tennessee of sexual battery of a child younger than six-years-old, was arrested in Whitleyville, Tennessee, approximately 100 east of Nashville, and charged with three counts of domestic assault by local authorities.

This led to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office bringing him back to Kentucky to face the aforementioned charges.

Both the Kentucky and Tennessee sex registry’s list Selby’s last known address as 9549 Owensboro Road, Falls of Rough.

Selby’s criminal record reaches back to 1994, according to the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, and includes a conviction in Tennessee in 2012 for violating the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.

Prior to Selby’s arrest in Tennessee on October 13, he was last arrested in that state in 2018.

He is lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $35,000.
