A teenager has died in a crash on I-65 in Warren County.
The accident occurred Friday afternoon at approximately 4:25 at the 41-mile-marker of northbound I-65 near Smiths Grove when a 2007 Nissan Titan, being driven by a 17-year-old, left the road and struck a tree, according to Kentucky State Police.
The driver was transported to The Medical Center of Bowling Green where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
A female passenger, 19-year-old Gracie Scott of Franklin, was airlifted from the scene to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is being led by Trooper Landon Key.
