A Breckinridge County woman with “early dementia” and who is “developmentally disabled” has been missing for nearly three months.
“Evelyn suffers from early dementia and is developmentally disabled,” according to a family member who reached out to K105.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, responding to unverified reports that Evelyn had spoken to someone on the phone since her disappearance, released the following statement on the search on July 27:
“Until a law enforcement officer makes physical contact with Ms. Blake, she will still be considered missing. The Sheriff’s Office is currently utilizing phone records from the phone provider, as a tool in attempt to locate Ms. Blake … We will continue to utilize whatever means necessary for a safe return of Ms. Blake. Our ultimate goal is to locate Ms. Blake. We appreciate all the help the public is wanting to provide, while still continuing to maintain respect for home and landowners. Permission to go onto their property must still be given to those wanting to search properties for Ms. Blake.”
Blake stands five feet, one inch tall and weighs about 230 pounds. She was last known to be wearing a white shirt and tan shorts.
Anyone with information on her location is asked to contact the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office at 270-756-2361.
