A man has been arrested after allegedly shooting his mother and 94-year-old grandmother.
Kentucky State Police said troopers and detectives responded Saturday night at approximately 11:00 to the report of a shooting on Winchester Road near Monticello in Wayne County.
The investigation, state police said, revealed 25-year-old Chase A. Jackson, of Monticello, was involved in a verbal altercation with his mother, 50-year-old Audrey J. Jackson and grandmother, 94-year-old Savana H. Brock, both of Monticello, when he shot both women.
The victims were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Chase Jackson was found by police walking along Hwy 90 in Wayne County. He was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of first-degree assault and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
