A teenager has been killed in a two-vehicle accident in Breckinridge County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers on Friday night at approximately 7:30 responded to the crash in the 7000 block of Hwy 333, about seven miles north of Custer.
The investigation showed that 18-year-old Kenneth R. Miller, of Vine Grove (formerly of Breckinridge Co.), was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse north when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle. He then overcorrected and crossed the center line and into the path of a 2004 Ford F-250, being driven by 57-year-old Dennis Barnes, of Vine Grove, according to state police.
Miller was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Breckinridge County Coroner’s Office.
Barnes was not injured.
