Glasgow police seize illegal products, cash, records from popular vape shop

A vape store in Glasgow previously accused of selling products to a minor during an undercover investigation has been accused of selling unlawful products.

On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department executed a search warrant at Purple Haze Smoke Vape & More store on N L Roger Wells Boulevard after receiving several complaints from school resource officers and other school personnel, as well as parents of children in the Barren County and Glasgow school districts, according to WCLU.com.

The investigation showed that the business was selling unlawful products to the public, resulting in police seizing cash, business records and a sizeable amount of illegal products.

Charges are pending.

In July 2022, according to WCLU.com, Glasgow police used a 19-year-old animal control officer to make “illegal purchases” at several stores in Glasgow, including at Purple Haze Smoke Vape & More. Employees of the business who sold the products were cited.
