The FBI is searching two locations in Nelson County as they look for the body of Crystal Rogers.
The properties, on Whiteside Road in Coxs Creek, were formerly owned by Nick Houck, the brother of Rogers murder suspect and live-in boyfriend, Brooks Houck, 42. Nick Houck sold the property in 2018, three years after Crystal Rogers, 35, disappeared on July 3, 2015.
Both properties, according to WDRB.com, had been owned by the Houck family since 1900.
Nelson County Sheriff Ramon Pineiroa told media outlets on Wednesday that the FBI had been on the property since Tuesday and would be back on Thursday.
“They’ve been here since yesterday and will be here through tomorrow,” Pineiroa said. “Pretty much, you guys know the drill, this is still ongoing, we have not found the body, and that’s what we’re here to do.”
