One person has been killed and three people injured after an SUV crossed the center line and struck two vehicles.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Sunday evening at approximately 5:45 on Hwy 150 in the Fredericksburg community of Washington County.

The preliminary investigation showed that 45-year-old Brian Blanford, of Lebanon, was traveling east on Hwy 150 in a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse when he crossed the center line and sideswiped a westbound 2008 GMC Sierra, being driven by 36-year-old Justin Phillips, of Springfield. The Traverse continued, state police said, and collided head-on with a 2007 Toyota Solara, being driven by 31-year-old Logan Dailey, of Louisville.

Dailey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Washington County Coroner’s Office.

A passenger in Dailey’s vehicle, 35-year-old Gerald Neal, of St. Catharine, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. Blanford and a juvenile in his vehicle were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by Sr. Trooper Lucas Justice.
