A member of the Indianapolis Colts organization has drowned near Monticello.

Wayne County Rescue Squad (WCRS) said first responders were dispatched Saturday morning just after midnight to the report of a possible drowning in Harmon Creek, about 10 miles northwest of Monticello.

First responders, at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, discovered the body of 39-year-old Jason M. Bradley, of Indianapolis, Indiana, “in around 40-feet of water,” according to WCRS.

The Wayne County Coroner’s Office said an official cause of death has not yet been determined.

Bradley was employed by the Indianapolis Colts and had recently been promoted to aircraft maintenance manager.

The Colts organization released the following statement on Bradley’s death:

“The Indianapolis Colts are heartbroken after losing our colleague and friend Jason Bradley in a tragic accident this past weekend.  He was loved and admired by so many inside and outside our organization, and we all will miss him terribly. Our prayers go out to Jason’s loved ones and friends with the hope of comforting them during this difficult time.”
