There was a rollover school bus crash in Union County on Friday afternoon.

Union County Schools said in a social post that “there are no major injuries” as the school bus flipped onto its side.

There were only two students and the driver on the bus. WFIE.com said the accident happened near Morganfield on Hwy 360.

The full statement issued by Union County Schools:

“There was an incident with one of our buses this afternoon. Thankfully, there are no major injuries. The two students who were on board and the driver are being checked by appropriate personnel. There were no other vehicles involved. Law enforcement, school officials, and medical professionals are on the scene to provide support. We thank the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Union County Emergency Management, and emergency volunteers for their assistance. As of 4:35pm, all other buses have completed their routes and returned to our bus garage. We are thankful everyone is okay.”

The Union County Sheriff’s Office told WFIE.com that the “bus dropped off the roadway and overturned.”
