A man has been arrested after being accused of shooting two people in Glasgow.
The Glasgow Police Department last night was dispatched to T.J. Samson Community Hospital after two people, a man and woman, arrived at the facility suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a report by Glasgow News1.
The male victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while the female victim remained at the Glasgow hospital.
The shooting occurred on Meadow Drive, a densely residential area in north Glasgow.
Glasgow police arrested 21-year-old Lawrence E. Dominguez and charged him with first-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment. He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
While police did confirm a suspect was arrested, they did not release the identity of the alleged shooter. Dominguez, though, was the only inmate arrested on Thursday in Barren County with charges that fit the profile of a shooting suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE: Glasgow Police Dept. Public Affairs Officer Major Terry Flatt confirmed to K105 that Dominguez is the shooting suspect.
