Skeletal remains have been discovered in Carroll County near the Ohio River.
Kentucky State Police said that on Monday evening, KSP Det. Dave Robers responded to near the town of Ghent after human remains were discovered “on a bank of the Ohio River.”
The remains were transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for a cause of death determination and identification.
The investigation is ongoing.
Ghent is a town of approximately 360 residents.
