Barry Wayne White, age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 11, 2024) at his home.
He was born on January 04, 1948, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Owen and Mildred Grant White.
A Veteran of the US Army, he worked at IBM (later Lexmark) and enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns & antiques and hunting arrowheads. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, the NRA, and the local gun club.
He is survived by his children, Barry White Jr. of Leitchfield, Deborah White of Corinth, KY & Patrick White of Danville, KY; three step-children, Jimmy Douthitt (Jenny) of Florida, Sandra White (Mike) of Clarkson, KY, & Rhonda Powell (Kenton) of Franklin, KY; seven grandchildren, Kennedy, Cody, Thomas, Jessica, TJ, Allicen & Chloe; eight step-grandchildren, Jack, Emma, Brandon, Bryan, Ashley, Matthew, Megan & Jessie; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin & Autumn Grace; 11 step-great-grandchildren, Joseph, Landon, Kayden, Westen, Brantley, Elliott, Asher, Lyla Nell, Gatlin, Korey & Hadley; and four brothers & sisters, Tim, Terry, Christie & Jennifer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Rita Carolyn Lush White; and a brother Dale White.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (January 15, 2024) at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery in Clarkson. Father Steve Hohman will be officiating.
