A death investigation is underway in Grayson County.
Grayson County Deputy Coroner James Embry responded Sunday morning at 11:40 to a residence in the 300 block of Rocky Hill Estates Road after a male in his 40s was found unresponsive. Embry pronounced the man deceased at 11:45 a.m.
“Due to the circumstances at the scene, a death investigation was started,” Embry told K105. “There will be an autopsy performed to determine the manner and cause of death.”
The man has no “significant medical history,” Embry added.
The body has been transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for the autopsy. The preliminary autopsy results should be available in 48 hours. The toxicology test results will take several weeks.
