Beef Quality Assurance Training, also known as BQA, will be held at the Grayson County Extension Office Thursday, November 9th from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.. The training will be at the Extension Office at 123 Commerce Drive in Leitchfield. BQA is a nationally coordinated, state implemented program that educates U.S. beef producers and beef consumers on how common sense husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management and environmental conditions. BQA guidelines are designed to make certain all beef consumers can take pride in what they purchase – and can trust and have confidence in the entire beef industry. For more information or to register for the BQA training, please call the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492. You should park in the back of the building and enter in the West entrance door.
