The BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued earlier this week for an industrial area of Leitchfield has been lifted and another advisory issued for a Leitchfield neighborhood.
The BWA issued on Tuesday for Core-Mark (1055 Salt River Rd.), Mid-Park Inc. (1021 Salt River Rd.), OFS (1010 Salt River Rd.), Xtreme (1060 Salt River Rd.), 421 Kelly Street, and 808 Salt River Road has been lifted.
Water samples taken by Leitchfield Utilities were sent to the state certified drinking water laboratory and came back free of contamination, the agency said.
A new BWA has been issued for the entirety of Fountain View Estates.
Utilities officials urge customers to boil water at a rolling boil for three minutes before drinking or using in cooking.
