A man has been arrested for robbing a Henry County bank.

Kentucky State Police responded to The United Citizen’s Bank and Trust in New Castle on Saturday morning, October 14, after a man “with a heavy-set build” robbed the bank.

The investigation led state police to this week arrest 46-year-old Gregory Hiner, of Louisville, and charge him with first-degree robbery.

Hiner was lodged in Louisville Metro Corrections.

New Castle is a town of about 900 residents approximately 17 miles north of Shelbyville.
