On Ohio County man has been arrested after multiple law enforcement officers located a large amount of methamphetamine during the execution of a search warrant.
Timothy J. Bennett, 33, of Hartford, was arrested Thursday after the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police served a warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Martin Road in Hartford.
Police told WFIE.com that Bennett was targeted when law enforcement received complaints about his illegal activity.
During a search of the residence, officers located three ounces of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police also found an AR-15, a pistol and shotgun and hundreds of dollars in cash.
Bennett was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but is no longer listed as an inmate.
