Our dear mother, mamaw and granny Debbie (Campbell) Hack, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the age of 69 years old. She was a wonderful mother, grandma & granny who was always there when we needed her. She was very loved and will be missed terribly.
She was born on May 21, 1954 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Charles and Kathleen Turner Campbell.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Tomes (MyLennia) of Leitchfield; a daughter, Angela Geary (Steve) also of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Jared Tomes (Hannah) of Elizabethtown, Cortney Geary (Brandon) Johnny Vaughan (Savannah) both of Leitchfield; 11 great-grandchildren, Laylynn, Miley, Mavery, Beckett, Lexi G., Hadley, Winston, Maddie Bear, Emma, Charley and Lexi F.; one brother, David Campbell (Rose) of Leitchfield; two sisters, Delaina Campbell & Regina Bratcher, both of Caneyville, KY; and a special loving companion Norman Smiley. Several nieces, nephews and a special caretaker, Zella, also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell Hack; one brother, Douglas Campbell; and a nephew Anthony Campbell.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (September 27, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jay Kiper will be officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Union “Old Wilson” United Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
