A power company employee from eastern Kentucky was killed Saturday in Louisville.

Officials are investigating after 29-year-old Jameson Hall, of Salyersville, a contract employee with Pike Electric, was electrocuted Saturday afternoon at approximately 1:45, according to a report by WDRB.com. He was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at about 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

Hall was working on power lines in the LG&E system at the intersection of Preston Highway and Loretta Street, near the Lynnview neighborhood. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Hall died from a “high voltage electrocution.”
