A Morgantown man and his young daughter were killed when a tree fell on their vehicle.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police responded to the accident in the 2000 block of Brooklyn Chapel Road, about 10 miles northeast of Morgantown.
Kentucky State Police said the investigation showed that 49-year-old Christopher Fulkerson was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado south on Brooklyn Chapel Road when a tree fell and struck the roof of the vehicle.
Fulkerson and his 12-year-old daughter were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is being led by KSP Det. Michael Waggener.
