Edward Keown, 79, of Smiths Grove passed away Wednesday June 14, 2023 in Edmonton.
The Edmonson County native was a life-long farmer. He was a son of the late Robert Keown and Maude Hampton Keown.
He was preceded in death by his life partner, Phyllis Liwoch; three brothers, Jewel Keown, Randall Keown and Urel Thomas Keown; two sisters, Evangeline Boyd and Lavonne Molden; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Molden and Wilbur Gibbons; and a sister-in-law, Emma Keown.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hawkins Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Keown; a sister, Mildred Gibbons; a sister-in-law, Mary Keown; a brother-in-law, James Boyd; and many nieces and nephews.
