Grayson County Middle School’s Brett Butler competed at last weekend’s KTCCCA Middle School State Championship at Louisville Eastern High School.
Butler took part in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and also in the pole vault.
In both hurdles events, he finished in the top 28 of massive fields.
Butler is a rising freshman and is now expected to join a young, strong high school track team.
The high school track season, which ends on Saturday, begins again in February.
